Plugin versions

Millstone Plugin version numbers are of the form X.Y.Z.P, where

X: Millstone product generation
Y: Millstone product minor version
Z: Millstone bugfix release number
P: Plugin release number

The product generations indicate major changes, and different generations may be incompatible with each other. Minor versions extend the feature set of the previous versions and maintain compatibility. Bugfix releases do not add new features.

Millstone Eclipse Plugin Installation Instructions

Follow these instructions to install the Millstone Eclipse Plugin into your Eclipse IDE.

1. Select the "Find and Install" option from the Help menu

2. Select the "Search for new features to install"

3. Select the "New remote site" option

4. Enter in the Millstone Plugin Update Site information

  Name: Millstone Plugin						      
  URL:  http://www.millstone.org/eclipse/updatesite/

5. Select the Millstone Plugin version

6. Confirm the installation of unsigned plugin

At this time Millstone Eclipse Plugin is not signed.

7. Restart the Eclipse IDE

After the Eclipse has rebooted you can create a new Millstone application using the "New Project Wizard".
